And I would support anyone who does that but, why is society so dependant on what others think about them? Why cant they keep their opinions to themselves without everyone in the LGBT community having a fit? Why cant we like and listen to someones music even if they dont have the same beliefs that we do?

For many gay people, especially those subjected to the horrors of conversion torture known as conversion therapy, your powerful words and imagery in Holding On To You can be either life-saving or terrifying. Holding onto you could be the theme song of conversion therapy. Which is terrifying, because it is a lie masquerading as love, and because it can lead to isolation, suffering, self-loathing, and death.
