Makonnen Kamali Sheran[2] (born April 12, ), better known by his stage name iLoveMakonnen (often stylized as ILOVEMAKONNEN), is an American rapper and singer. [3]. He is best known for his single "Tuesday", which initially gained recognition following its remix with Canadian rapper Drake.

Makonnen Kamali Sheran (born April 12, ), popularly known as iLoveMakonnen, is an American recording artist from South Los Angeles, CA. Makonnen ran a blog interviewing recording artists. Earlier this week, Taylor Bennett announced on Twitter that he is bisexual.

While his answer was purposely ambiguous, the Atlanta native is right—labeling people based on their sexual orientation creates division instead of community. One thing about hip-hop and rap that really gets on my nerve is that they got so much shit to say about gays, lesbians and so anti-gay, all that is just a lot of shit where they want to say faggot and gay bashing.

I may not personally be gay but I got gay friends and people on earth that do what the fuck they do and they need to be accepted as well. Unfortunately, despite the courageous efforts of artists like Bennett, Makonnen, and even Frank Ocean, we have a long way to go before hip-hop and homophobia are no longer synonymous.
