None of these films resemble each other, but they're all intense, heartfelt and confrontational in their own way. Echoes of older underground movements like the Cinema of Transgression or New Queer Cinema kept coming to mind; despite being made in Germany, Hiram Harrington's strand opener is pure New French Extremity. I just thought it was really fucking cool and that there is a way to do content warnings without kinda neutering the film.

This was a very impressive short film. The set was very well done if it was not shot on location. Feel like this idea could be expounded upon to feature length given some more character and plot.
